Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual physical therapy needs, establishing diagnostic and functional baselines.
• Create and implement customized, evidence-based rehabilitation plans based on these assessments, focusing on the unique recovery goals of each patient.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, movement-based treatment strategies, and functional strength training to enhance recovery and mobility.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques and strategies to prevent re-injury, empowering them with knowledge to manage their health.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Inner Sage, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population dealing with various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and general musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery, helping individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and active New York State Physical Therapist license.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, ideally within an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Experience in sports medicine or a specialist field related to orthopedic care will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
