Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify and understand each client’s mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and evidence-based methodologies.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, establishing clear goals and strategies for achieving positive outcomes.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s preferences and circumstances.
  • Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment as necessary to address evolving challenges and ensure effective care.
  • Actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, social workers, and support staff to offer integrated care and address various aspects of clients' lives.
  • Maintain precise and confidential electronic client records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals overcoming anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Our clients come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, each facing unique challenges. Your ability to understand and respect these differences while providing empathetic support is crucial to fostering trust and facilitating healing.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California.
  • Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technologies and digital platforms to provide counseling services.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, with the ability to engage clients in meaningful dialogue.
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines and best practices in mental health care.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience providing therapeutic services in a community health setting or similar environment is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience with various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
  • Familiarity with serving culturally diverse populations and addressing the unique needs related to that diversity.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
