We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of retail and shopping center properties. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial performance, operational excellence, and physical condition of assigned assets. The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-driven professional with strong commercial property management experience and a passion for delivering exceptional results.


As a key member of our team, you will work closely with tenants, vendors, property accounting, leasing, and senior management to maximize property value, enhance tenant satisfaction, and achieve financial objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day financial and operational performance of assigned retail properties.

  • Develop and administer annual operating budgets and monitor performance against budget goals.

  • Prepare monthly budget variance reports and provide recommendations to improve performance.

  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure assets are maintained to the highest standards.

  • Identify and mitigate safety, risk management, and liability concerns.

  • Manage vendor relationships, review performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality service delivery.

  • Build and maintain strong tenant relationships by responding to questions, concerns, and operational needs.

  • Monitor tenant accounts receivable and actively support collection efforts and dispute resolution.

  • Report collection activity and property performance metrics to senior management.

  • Oversee tenant improvement allowances and coordinate tenant construction activities.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams on property promotions, events, and signage initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with lease terms, operational agreements, maintenance responsibilities, corporate policies, and government regulations.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial property management experience.

  • Prior experience managing a portfolio of retail properties and/or shopping centers preferred.

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, capital improvement projects, and property operations.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Annual Base Salary Range: $97,589 - $124,426. This position is eligible to participate in the company's annual discretionary bonus program.
