JOB PURPOSE
The Custodial Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the production floor, surrounding areas, and facility grounds. This role ensures a safe, clean, and efficient working environment by supporting daily housekeeping and waste management tasks.
STRUCTURE
  • Reports directly to the Team Lead and People & Manufacturing Operations Specialist
  • Works closely with production teams across all lines
  • Supports overall facility cleanliness and safety standards
  • Follows established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

RESPONSIBILITY
  • Pick up trash daily across all production lines
  • Sweep and clean production floors, including sewing areas
  • Collect and transport trash to designated dumpsters
  • Break down and fold cardboard, placing it in the appropriate recycling containers
  • Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including garden spaces and parking lots
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and hazard-free
  • Follow all safety procedures and facility guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with employees across departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly
