Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage physical therapy treatments for patients, focusing on preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and facilitating the development or restoration of muscle function.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess individual functional abilities and establish tailored treatment plans.
• Supervise and support Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of prescribed therapy programs.
• Provide onsite therapy services, delivering manual therapeutic exercises, instructing clients in functional activities, and administering multiple treatment modalities.
• Assess the client’s home environment to recommend modifications that enhance independence and support rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case conferences to integrate therapies and align treatment strategies.
• Prepare detailed clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring all records adhere to compliance standards.
• Engage with patients and their families to educate them about therapy modalities, impart proper use of therapeutic equipment, and address questions regarding the rehabilitation process.
• Participate in the continuous assessment and updating of care plans based on observations and relevant changes in client conditions.
• Stay updated with current physical therapy practices by engaging in professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at InSearch Therapeutics, you will work with a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or dealing with post-injury rehabilitation needs. The ability to connect personally with patients and provide tailored therapy is essential, as each client's journey to recovery may vary significantly.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• A deep understanding of current research and findings in physical therapy practice.

Compensation and Benefits

InSearch Therapeutics offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Alongside salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
