General Purpose
Regional Director of Therapy Services-PACSis responsible fortheoversightof multiplefacility rehabilitation programs, both in-house andcontract therapy providers,andmentoring ofDirectors of Rehabilitation.This includes but is not limitedtotraining new Directors of Rehabilitation, providing recommendations to rehab programs onefficiencies,andoperationsmonitoringto ensure adherence toPACSTherapyBest Practicesand Policies and Proceduresas well as Medicare guidelines and State Practice Acts.The role does notincludeproviding direct patient care or documentation in patient EMRexcept during emergentsituationand with approval of PACS leadership.TheRegional Director of Therapy Servicesis responsible forimplementation ofnew programsand proceduresconsistent withregulatory changes and willinterface withother regional level nursing and administrative professionals.

Qualification
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and /or Speech Language Pathologyataminimum.Prefer graduatesof Masters or Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and /or Speech Language Pathology. Proficient in computer skillsfor Microsoft Office andutilizingsoftware for SharePoint,Net Health,and Point Click Care.Preferpriorregional experience.RequiresRAC-CT Credentialwithin 1 year of hire.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Licensedas a Physical Therapist, OccupationalTherapistand or Speech Language Therapist.Employeemust meetcontinueeducation requirements per state practices. Mustmaintaina license in good standing at alltimewith the state board.CPR certification.

Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling,crouchingor crawling occasionally. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception in vision: ability to adjust focus.
