Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and developing individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs and goals.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their recovery process.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and foster a deeper sense of healing.
• Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure a cohesive and integrative approach to patient care.
• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patients' safety and well-being.
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community and organizational resources.
• Maintaining accurate and secure documentation aligned with both legal and ethical standards of practice to uphold our commitment to confidentiality.
• Engaging actively in case consultations and team meetings, as well as pursuing ongoing professional development and training opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically focuses on individuals who have been affected by trauma. You will work with diverse clientele, including adults experiencing PTSD, children dealing with complex trauma, and families navigating the impacts of traumatic experiences. Your engagement will help empower these individuals, guiding them on their journey towards recovery and resilience.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and proven expertise in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, supporting both patients and colleagues effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
• A collaborative mindset, willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While the required qualifications are essential, we highly favor candidates who have extensive experience in delivering trauma-focused interventions and possess a comprehensive understanding of resilience-building practices. Such experience enhances our ability to provide exceptional care tailored to the nuances of trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
