Most Shop Manager roles are just "Lead Mechanic" jobs with a fancy title. This is different. We are looking for a Partner in Operations. You will have the budget and the authority to turn a 'collection of equipment' into a streamlined, high-efficiency fleet. Location : Newtown, PA | Comp : $70,000 – $80,000 + Benefits

Tired of the daily grind on the concrete floor? Move into a leadership role where you run the show. We have a fleet of 50+ trucks and 150+ pieces of landscape equipment. We have the gear, we just need the Leader to build the system.

The Opportunity:

This is a blank slate. You aren't just a supervisor; you are the director of the shop. You will have the autonomy to choose vendors, design the layout, and build a world-class operation from the ground up.

What You'll Do:

  • Build the Playbook : Create PM schedules and shop workflows.
  • Lead the Team : Mentor mechanics and shop staff; set the standard for quality.
  • Manage Assets : Oversee the lifecycle of trucks and equipment (buying, selling, and DOT compliance).
  • Maximize Uptime : Manage inventory and vendors to ensure crews are never sitting idle.

  • The Expert : You know diesel engines and small equipment inside and out.
  • The Leader : You lead by showing, not shouting. You've been in their shoes.
  • The Architect : You're organized, proactive, and hate a messy shop.
  • Tech-Capable : Comfortable using software to track maintenance and budgets.
