Our outpatient office facility operates as a virtual counseling center, where you will have the autonomy to manage your caseload and work on an appointment basis. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s specific mental health needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to client care.
• Maintain and manage accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements while utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to remain updated with the latest advancements in the mental health field.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required to ensure a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting, with a preference for candidates who have worked in outpatient settings.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as trauma recovery, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations affecting the counseling profession.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills essential for building therapeutic relationships with clients from varying backgrounds.
• Experience using electronic medical record systems and other relevant software to streamline administrative tasks.
