About the Organization

At Ideal Life Psychological Service, we are committed to delivering exceptional outpatient mental health care to individuals of all ages. Our clinic prides itself on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment that prioritizes healing, growth, and the well-being of our clients. We specialize in a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Our team employs evidence-based approaches tailored to meet each client's unique needs.

Work Environment

This position operates from a remote setting, integrating advanced telehealth technologies to facilitate seamless communication and therapy delivery. Our team works collaboratively to provide comprehensive care, ensuring that all clients receive the support and resources they need regardless of their location. You will be a key member of our team that emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and resources, and utilize this information to inform treatment planning.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, detailing personalized goals and interventions to optimize client outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that address common mental health issues and promote skills for resilience and recovery.
  • Offer crisis intervention services, perform risk assessments, and assist in safety planning as needed to ensure client safety.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a diverse array of clients, ranging from children to older adults, each facing unique mental health challenges. You will foster a therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to overcome barriers, develop coping strategies, and engage actively in their treatment journey. By providing culturally competent care, you will enhance the support available to marginalized populations within our community.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • A minimum of three years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating your proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, able to engage with clients in a meaningful and impactful way.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience with trauma-informed care, addiction treatment, or specialized client populations will be considered beneficial. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools will enhance your efficacy in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, we offer an array of benefits designed to support our employees' overall wellness and professional growth. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; retirement plans with employer contributions; generous paid time off; and opportunities for continuing education to further develop clinical skills.
