Duties

• Serve ice cream, sorbet, and other frozen desserts accurately and efficiently using proper scooping techniques
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, upselling popular flavors and toppings to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions quickly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and serving areas in accordance with sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
• Restock supplies, toppings, napkins, and utensils to ensure smooth service flow throughout shifts
• Assist with food preparation tasks like portioning ingredients or preparing cones and cups as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items confidently
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively without compromising quality or safety
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or restaurant setting is highly desirable
