Event Operations Manager – Luxury Events (South Florida)


This is not a traditional photo booth attendant position. You will be required to lift and move equipment weighing 75+ lbs, drive a company-owned pickup truck, and be available weekend afternoons/nights (most work is Friday-Sunday). This role will lead the market operations and execute events in South Florida.


About Icona Photo Booths


Icona Photo Booths is a founder-led, luxury event service company specializing in premium vintage-inspired sit-in photo booth experiences for high-end weddings, private events, and brand activations throughout the Southeast.


Based in North Carolina, Icona is currently expanding into South Florida and is seeking a Market Operator to lead event execution throughout the region. This role is expected to begin between September 1 and October 1, 2026.


We are looking for a highly reliable, professional operator who can independently execute events and represent the Icona brand at the highest level, with the goal and interest of growing alongside the company.


Initially, this role is expected to support approximately 2–6 events per month, with growth anticipated as the market expands.


Most events take place on weekends, with work occurring primarily during afternoons and evenings.


Territory


This position will primarily serve:

  • Palm Beach
  • Boca Raton
  • Delray Beach
  • Fort Lauderdale
  • Surrounding South Florida markets within ~2hrs


Applicants should live within or within reasonable driving distance of Palm Beach County or Broward County.


Responsibilities


  • Transport, set up, operate, and break down photo booth equipment for events
  • Execute weddings, private events, and brand activations
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained, organized, and event-ready
  • Communicate professionally with clients, wedding planners, and venues
  • Submit event reports, setup photos, and operational notes following each event
  • Assist with inventory management and supply organization
  • Uphold Icona's standards of presentation, professionalism, and guest experience at every event

  • Comfortable driving a company-owned pickup truck

Compensation


Compensation will be competitive and structured based on experience, availability, territory coverage, and overall responsibilities.


This role is designed as a long-term opportunity with significant growth potential as the South Florida market expands.


Once fully trained and established, successful operators are expected to earn approximately $30,000-$60,000+ annually on a part-time basis, with opportunities for increased responsibility, leadership, and compensation as the market grows.
