Job Summary:
IT Veterans is currently seeking a LAN/WAN Engineer SME to join our team.You must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to gain and maintain a CI poly.
Job Details:
- Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network analysis and design-Service Provider
- Primary Skills: ISIS, OSPF, MP-BGP, VRFs, EVPN, vxLAN, IOS-XR, JUNOS, IOS-XE, Automation, MPLS and segment routing
- L2VPN, Pseuodowires, L3VPN, IPSec, MACsec.
- Advanced knowledge of routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and software.
- Advanced knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications.
- Expert Knowledge of Automation and ability to use automation software, controllers, and tooling
- Knowledge of Agile workflows and techniques
- Expert knowledge of Service Now and flow design
- Knowledge of LINUX and bash/Python
- Knowledge of cryptographic equipment and management tools.
- Experience with various service provider transport, circuit activation and testing a plus.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in addition to education level
- Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNP or JNCIP or equivalent
- Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired
- Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
