Python Developer – Fixed Income Technology

We are looking for a Python Developer to join a Fixed Income Technology team supporting Rates, Credit, and Securitized Markets. The role involves building scalable, high-performance applications used for pricing, trading, risk management, and market data processing in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications
• Build efficient, optimized, and production-ready code
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and enterprise systems
• Participate in architecture design and technical discussions
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 years of hands-on Python development experience
• Strong knowledge of core Python, SQL, and database APIs
• Solid understanding of OOP, multithreading, and concurrency concepts
• Experience building production-grade applications
• Familiarity with Docker and container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or ECS
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java
• Exposure to Django or Flask frameworks
• Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, or data processing technologies
• Understanding of Fixed Income or Capital Markets products
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
