Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Architect / Technical Lead for a six-month contract role in Dallas, Texas, with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role will lead the technical migration from Dynamics GP to Business Central and define the architecture for an omnichannel retail ecosystem, including integrations with front-end CRM platforms, BI tools, and wholesale partner Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) networks.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead Migration Architecture: Define the technical roadmap for migrating retail data, processes, and workflows from Dynamics GP to Business Central.

·       Design Complex Integrations: Architect scalable integrations between Business Central, SAP C4C, Suite CRM, and SAP BO/BI.

·       Oversee EDI Strategy: Establish a reliable EDI framework to support 20 automated data flows across 5 external retail and supply chain partners.

·       Provide Technical Governance: Set coding standards, review technical designs, and ensure solution performance, scalability, and security.

·       Guide Technical Delivery: Lead senior developers, resolve architectural blockers, and align technical execution with project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·       Core Expertise: 12+ years of ERP experience, including significant experience architecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.

·       Industry Experience: Proven experience in retail or fashion environments, including supply chain, inventory, or order management processes.

·       Migration Experience: Proven track record of leading successful migrations from Dynamics GP to Business Central.

·       Integration Expertise: Strong experience integrating Business Central with CRM, BI, and enterprise platforms such as SAP C4C, Suite CRM, and SAP BO/BI.

·       EDI Expertise: Deep knowledge of retail EDI standards, including documents such as 850 purchase orders and 856 advance ship notices.
