Quick Facts Location: Eureka, CA Start Date: 08/27/2026 Schedule: Inpatient, 24-hour call-only shifts Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (call only) Hours/Week: Variable based on call schedule Employment Type: Locum Licenses/Certifications: Active CA license, DEA, ACTIVE FLURO Experience: BC or BE within 3-5 years of residency Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursement Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage including procedures and consultations Manage emergent cardiac cases during 24-hour call shifts Collaborate with hospital teams on complex cardiac interventions and diagnostics Perform procedures such as diagnostic angiograms, interventions, and NUC reading/activities Ensure quality care in a 75% interventional and 25% noninvasive service setting Document patient encounters and procedural logs accurately Maintain compliance with hospital and licensing requirements What You Need Required: Active California medical license Board certification or eligibility (BC or BE) within 3-5 years of residency DEA license ACTIVE FLURO certification Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in cardiology Preferred: Prior experience in interventional cardiology procedures Ability to handle high-acuity cases and emergency interventions Strong collaborative skills with hospital and clinical teams About the Assignment Work at a leading facility in Eureka, California, providing inpatient interventional cardiology services. The role involves 24-hour beeper call coverage, with shifts providing vital emergency and diagnostic cardiology care.
