Job description

ICI Foods is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Vendor Partners to lead a portfolio of ingredient categories and strategic vendor relationships. This role serves as the internal expert for assigned categories and acts as a key liaison between ICI Foods' vendor partners and sales organization.The Senior Manager, Vendor Partners is responsible for developing and strengthening strategic supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, driving category performance, identifying opportunities for growth and cost optimization, and providing the sales team with the information and resources needed to effectively represent ICI Foods' products.The ideal candidate brings strong food industry experience, commercial and business acumen, exceptional relationship-management and negotiation skills, and the ability to translate market and business data into actionable strategies.Required QualificationsAt least 10 years of experience in procurement, category management, ingredient sales, vendor management, purchasing, or a related commercial function is required. Experience in the food, food ingredient, distribution, or related industry is required. Demonstrated experience managing vendor or supplier relationships.Proven negotiation experience involving pricing, contracts, rebates, or other commercial terms.Strong analytical and business skills, including the ability to interpret sales, margin, pricing, and inventory data.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field.Experience in food ingredient distribution.Familiarity with SAP, ERP, inventory management, or related systems.Experience supporting or partnering closely with a sales organization.Knowledge of food industry regulations and ingredient-related requirements.Experience developing category strategies, supplier business plans, or joint growth initiatives.
