Key responsibilities

  • Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments for transportation throughout the US.

  • Assist with the coordination, execution, and tracking of domestic shipments, including entering shipments and quotes into the operating platform and tracking freight.

  • Prepare shipments for invoicing, review vendor billing discrepancies, and support customer service initiatives to ensure operational proficiency and customer satisfaction.

Logistics Coordinator ICAT Logistics Detroit | Taylor, Michigan | 

In-Office $45,000-$50,000 per year + bonus opportunities

No logistics experience? No problem. If you're organized, comfortable with computers, and communicate well, we'll teach you the rest.You'll be part of the team that keeps freight moving across the country - scheduling shipments, tracking them in transit, and making sure customers, drivers and transportation providers all stay on the same page. It's fast-paced, hands-on work where you'll learn the logistics industry from the ground up.


Please note: this role is based full-time at our Taylor, Michigan office. It is not remote or hybrid.


What You'll Do

  • Schedule and coordinate freight shipments throughout the U.S.
  • Track shipments and keep customers updated in real time
  • Communicate daily with customers, drivers and transportation providers
  • Enter shipment details and quotes into our systems
  • Gather delivery documents and vendor costs
  • Help prepare completed shipments for invoicing
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day shipment issues alongside our operations team

What We Ask

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, in-office environment

Logistics or customer service experience helps, but we're hiring for attitude and aptitude first - we'll train the industry knowledge.
