Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP APO/IBP/SCM Consultant with 12+ years of experience to support SAP Application Maintenance and Support activities involving SAP APO, IBP, SCM, and integrated applications. The consultant will work closely with Supply Chain business teams to support planning processes, troubleshoot production issues, implement enhancements, and maintain stable SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, implement, and support SAP APO modules including:
    • Demand Planning (DP)
    • Supply Network Planning (SNP)
    • Global Available-to-Promise (GATP)
  • Support and implement SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions.
  • Support integration between SAP APO/IBP, SAP ECC, and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Integrate IBP and Kinaxis with SAP and external systems such as Salesforce, Teradata, and flat-file sources.
  • Troubleshoot SAP APO, IBP, and integrated system/process issues.
  • Support master data, transactional data, configuration, and WRICEF-related issues.
  • Design, configure, test, and document SAP APO/IBP solutions.
  • Support production break/fix, maintenance, enhancements, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Implement and support IBP Control Tower and Inventory Optimization solutions.
  • Work with Kinaxis and SAP integration processes.
  • Analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain business representatives to understand and resolve complex business problems.
  • Support global planning organizations and NALA business teams.
  • Manage incidents, problems, service tasks, backlogs, and SLAs within an AMS environment.
  • Perform root cause analysis and ensure appropriate documentation and resolution.
  • Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams for daily operations and workload prioritization.
  • Prepare daily and weekly status reports and monitor workstream deliverables.
  • Support monthly cutover and enhancement activities.
  • Provide critical production support outside normal business hours when required.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, business users, and technical teams.
  • Support testing, training, knowledge transfer, and documentation activities.
Required Skills
  • 12+ years of IT experience with strong SAP APO/SCM experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP APO DP, SNP, and GATP.
  • Strong experience implementing and supporting SAP IBP.
  • Experience integrating SAP APO/IBP with SAP ECC and HANA Cloud.
  • Experience with IBP and Kinaxis integration with SAP.
  • Experience integrating with external systems such as Salesforce, Teradata, and flat files.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Experience with IBP Control Tower and Inventory Optimization.
  • Strong production support and AMS experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot SAP APO/IBP issues involving configuration, master data, transaction data, and integrations.
  • Ability to read and debug ABAP code.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning business processes.
  • Experience preparing functional specifications, test plans, and technical documentation.
  • Strong incident, problem, change, and SLA management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Experience working with global/NALA business teams and NALA time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Kinaxis.
  • Experience with SAP APO/IBP integration architectures.
  • Experience with global Supply Chain Planning implementations.
  • Experience working in large-scale AMS/support environments.
  • Experience with cross-functional SAP and non-SAP integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain business processes and planning operations.
