Role Overview
As an Inside Sales Representative at Hurricane Logistics, you'll play a critical role in expanding our customer base and growing existing accounts. You'll leverage your sales skills to identify prospects, build relationships, and deliver transportation solutions that meet customer needs. Working closely with our operations team, you'll help ensure a seamless customer experience while contributing directly to the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other sales initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
- Identify customer transportation needs and present tailored logistics solutions
- Generate and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities from initial contact through close
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals, activity metrics, and performance KPIs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and operational execution
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within company systems
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive offerings
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven success in sales, customer service, business development, or a related field
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to confidently engage prospects and handle objections
- Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy

Preferred:
- 1–3+ years of inside sales, logistics sales, freight brokerage, or transportation industry experience
- Experience with cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline management
