Assemblers will work alongside Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices assembling electrical products to specifications in a manufacturing facility in Hudson WI.Job Description:
Local Union 14 Position
- Read blueprints and schematics or receive work direction from a Foreman.
- Gather and layout materials necessary for the assembly.
- Build conduit assemblies to prints
- Wire VFD's, motor starters, lighting and control panels.
- Complete panelboards, overhead racks, and threaded rod assemblies.
- Verify accuracy of work through quality control procedures.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment.
- Notify supervisor of low inventory or faulty equipment in need of repair.
- Cut, strip, crimp, and route wires to connect electrical units.
- Install, mount, and secure electrical parts
