Job description

The honest version of this job.

We teach people how to build a real estate business. Not theory, actual closed deals. We run live events and a daily virtual coaching school. You'd own whether our students actually succeed.

You're on Zoom most of the day. You're the face students see and the person they email, and there are a lot of them. Some paid real money, haven't made an offer in three weeks, and are frustrated. That lands on you.

You also manage the team that delivers all of it, plus our coaching contractors. Most of your team is overseas VAs, and they're awesome. Sharp, hard working, and they care. Leading them well means clear written direction and working across time zones. That's a real skill and not everyone has it.

You're measured on their output, not your own. If you spend a weekend doing five jobs yourself, that's a failure here, not a win.

It's intense and it's frontline busy. The role will change mid-quarter because it always does. Live events mean some evenings and weekends. You won't grow this fast anywhere else.

Now the part that matters more.

This isn't a job to me. I want to work here the rest of my life, and I'm building a team of people who want the same thing.

Our executive team is in Phoenix, along with all of our management. You'd be coming on as part of the management team, not under it.

We're building something that doesn't exist yet. If you want to be here while it gets built, and still be here when it's built, this is a rare seat.

But if you're in a season where you need somewhere to land for a year or two, you won't be happy here. That's not a knock. It's a different season, and I'd rather say it now than find out in month three.

My job is to protect the culture we're building. That means being honest with you up front.

So opt in or opt out. Either one is fine.

What you'd own

  • Quality control across the student journey. You find the gaps before students do.
  • Deal cadence. Students make offers on a set rhythm. You track it and escalate when it slips.
  • Response standards. No missed messages. Urgent things get answered fast.
  • Your team. Their clarity, their growth, their numbers.
  • One weekly report. What's broken, what you're doing about it, what you need from someone else.

What you need to already have

  • You've managed people before. At least 3 direct reports at once, for at least a year, where you owned their reviews and their corrective action. We'll train you on how we manage here. We won't teach you management from zero.
  • You live in the Phoenix metro and can be in Glendale one or two days a week. Open the map before you apply.
  • You're good on camera. Most of this job happens on Zoom.
  • You write well. Written clarity is how you lead a remote team and how students hear from us.
  • Comfortable in a CRM. We use GoHighLevel and we'll train you on it.

Don't apply if

  • You want a way into real estate investing. Our students do the deals. You run the school.
  • You'd rather be liked than accurate.
  • You do the work yourself instead of getting the team to do it.
  • "Detail oriented" is on your resume but you didn't proofread it.

How we work

Six things we hire, review, promote, and fire on.

  • Clarity. Your work is easy to understand. Communication is direct.
  • Speed. You move quickly. Things get acted on, not held.
  • Dependability. If it's assigned, it gets done. No reminders, no chasing.
  • Care. You take pride in your work. Students, brand, and team get treated with respect.
  • Adaptability. New tools, new direction, absorbed without resistance.
  • Results. Every goal has a number. Learn your KPIs. No excuses.

Give me the data, not the drama. Show me, don't tell me.

To apply

Answer both of these in your application. One or two sentences each.

  1. How many people reported directly to you in your last management role, and did you own their performance reviews?
  2. Tell me about the last time you told someone on your team their work wasn't good enough. What you said, and what happened after.
