Job description

The Route Salesperson role is integral to maintaining customer relationships while supporting the sales manager with accurate product deliveries and display execution. Working within your customer base this position involves managing inventory, processing orders, delivering product, and building displays in each retail account.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track inventory levels in accounts to ensure instock expectations
  • Process sales orders timely and accurately
  • Communicate effectively with customers and sales management to grow sales
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and sales daily to management
  • Provide product information and promotions to customers
  • Execute all sales promotions and maximize retail displays

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in Direct Store Delivery operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with inventory management & handheld computer systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and time management
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Excellent Driving record
  • Verifiable references
