Housewrights is a premier residential design-build firm known for delivering high-quality new homes, additions, and remodels. We're growing and looking for a Preconstruction Administrator / Estimator to play a key role in turning great design into successful construction projects.
This is a high-impact role at the center of our preconstruction process - ideal for someone who enjoys estimating, coordinating with subcontractors, and working closely with both clients and project teams.

What You'll Do
- Lead preconstruction coordination from design handoff through project kickoff
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate project estimates
- Solicit and level subcontractor bids
- Build clear, client-facing proposals with defined scope, allowances, and pricing
- Coordinate walkthroughs, permitting, and preconstruction schedules
- Assemble contracts and manage project documentation
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure a smooth handoff to construction
- Support active projects with change order pricing and site visits
What We're Looking For
- Experience in estimating, preconstruction, or residential construction
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and scopes
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
