Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.

  • Triage patients according to severity of condition and medical history.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and proceduresas prescribed byphysicians.

  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical information.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, examinations, and treatments.

  • Maintainaccurateandtimelypatient records and documentation.

  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and initiate life-saving measures.

  • Maintain knowledge of current emergency nursing practices and technologies.

  • Participate in continuous professional development and training activities.

  • Assistin managing and restocking medical supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Associates of Science in Nursing preferred.Additionalstate requirements as applicable. Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Registered Nurse in the State.

  • BLS,ACLSand PALS.

  • Two-year emergency room experience in a hospital setting or equivalentexperience
