Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing flexibility and work-life balance while still being an integral part of the Horsham Behavioral Health community. You will engage in professional collaboration with fellow clinicians and support staff through virtual platforms, ensuring a seamless exchange of ideas and strategies to enhance patient care. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured work schedule that allows for daily productivity without weekend obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between families and outpatient providers to ensure comprehensive care coordination.

• Engage with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management, facilitating access to necessary services for clients.

• Participate in discharge and aftercare planning, ensuring that clients transition smoothly from intensive care to ongoing support.

• Provide therapeutic meal support during counseling sessions, helping clients to foster a healthy relationship with food and self-image.

• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care, recognizing and responding to the unique needs of clients as informed by their diverse backgrounds and circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Horsham Behavioral Health, you will work with a wide-ranging patient demographic, including individuals dealing with mental health challenges, trauma histories, and varied life transitions. Our focus on older adults means that you will also tailor interventions that specifically address their unique emotional, psychological, and social needs, enriching their daily living experiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington is mandatory.

• Experience working with older adults is essential, as this population requires specialized understanding and approaches.

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills are necessary to effectively assess and support clients.
