RNs and LPNs Needed Sign on Bonus
Join the Horizon Post Acute Team!
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at Horizon Post Acute in Wichita, KS. As a respected healthcare provider, we offer competitive wages, part-time and full-time opportunities, and welcome multi-state licensees and new graduates as well as seasoned nurses.
About the Role:
As a valued member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. We offer a variety of shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts, to accommodate your schedule.
Responsibilities:
Follow established procedures for charting and incident reporting
Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction
Document any changes in patient conditions, including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other noticeable changes
Utilize the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in appropriate programs
Document and notify applicable departments of patient room changes, leaves of absence, new admits, or discharges
Make rounds with physicians when necessary
Requirements:
Current LVN/RN license in practicing state
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one
Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required
