You will be pivotal in providing exceptional mental health services that promote personal growth, emotional well-being, and resilience to our diverse client population. Your role will utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to facilitate healing and support individual achievements.

About the Organization

Hopeful Balance Counseling is a progressive mental health organization committed to enhancing emotional health and accessibility to mental health services for all. We pride ourselves on creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their emotions without judgment. We serve a broad demographic, particularly focusing on individuals and families who face barriers to traditional mental health care, ensuring that our services reach those in need.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth from the comfort of your home or preferred work location. This flexible work setting ensures a healthy work-life balance while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional care. Through a collaborative platform, you will engage with other licensed professionals and support staff to ensure continuity of care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Implement and deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy in individual, group, and family sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing modern Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic client care and participate in case discussions, ensuring comprehensive treatment approaches.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, actively contributing to the evolving practice of mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be to serve individuals and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use disorders. By delivering culturally competent and individualized care, you’ll play a significant role in empowering clients to overcome obstacles and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, particularly in clinical settings, is essential.
  • You must possess a strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven experience and comfort working within a healthcare team environment is required.
  • Proficiency in EMR software and familiarity with telehealth technologies is necessary.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialized training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
  • A strong commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with mental health research and practices is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and patient load. Additional benefits include:

  • Comprehensive dental, vision, and health insurance coverage.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage to protect your practice.
  • A referral program that rewards you for bringing in new clients.
  • Administrative support for billing and documentation tasks, allowing you to focus on client care.
