Hope Wellness Medical Center

HOPE Wellness Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in wound care to join our growing clinical team in The Villages, Florida.

This is a full-time position focused on providing comprehensive wound assessment, treatment, and ongoing management to patients in the community. We are looking for a provider who is clinically strong, highly dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with physicians and other members of the care team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide ongoing evaluation and management of acute and chronic wounds
• Manage complex wounds, including pressure injuries, diabetic wounds, vascular wounds, surgical wounds, and other non-healing wounds
• Perform appropriate wound-care procedures within scope of practice and training
• Monitor healing progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding wound care, prevention, nutrition, and treatment plans
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EHR
• Coordinate care with physicians, home health agencies, facilities, specialists, and other members of the patient's healthcare team
• Follow evidence-based wound-care protocols and applicable regulatory and documentation requirements
• Help support the development and growth of HOPE Wellness Medical Center's wound-care services in the greater Villages area

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Florida APRN license
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current national NP certification
• Wound-care experience strongly preferred
• Wound-care certification preferred
• Experience managing chronic and complex wounds preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and care-coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload
• Excellent communication and patient-service skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if travel between patient locations is required
