This position is onsite at our hospital, where our collaborative environment allows members of the medical staff to work closely together. Here, you will leverage the EPIC EMR documentation system to maintain complete and accurate records while actively participating in quality improvement initiatives that drive patient care excellence. The hospital's location in Warner Robins provides a peaceful atmosphere complemented by a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and obtain comprehensive medical histories to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to the individual needs of patients across all age groups.
• Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans based on your expert analysis.
• Administer vaccinations and medications, while also educating patients and their families on preventive health measures and recommended lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions, coordinating referrals for specialty care when necessary to ensure complete health management.
• Ensure detailed and timely documentation of all patient encounters using the EPIC EMR system, aiding in streamlined communication and care continuity.
• Participate in ongoing education and remain engaged with the latest advancements in medical best practices to enhance the standards of care provided.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and foster strong relationships with patients and their families to build trust and enhance their healthcare experience.
• Adhere to all ethical standards in medical practice as well as maintain strict confidentiality concerning all patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Family Practice Physician Assistant at Hope Family Hospital, you will provide care to a broad spectrum of patients, from infants to elderly individuals. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA Certification and valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Preferred Experience

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies is highly preferred.
• Previous experience working in a family medicine setting is beneficial.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of EMR systems, specifically the EPIC EMR documentation system.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 140,000 – 180,000, commensurate with experience. In conjunction with the attractive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
