Honor Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative rehabilitation facility where you will evaluate, implement, and optimize treatment plans for patients with various functional limitations and disabilities. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As the Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, re-evaluating patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
  • Consulting with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care for our patients.
  • Documenting patient interactions accurately and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and support staff.
  • Participating in community outreach and marketing initiatives to enhance our program visibility.
  • Engaging in continuing education to enhance your clinical knowledge and skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic disabilities. Your ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient age, culture, and individual needs will be essential in providing compassionate and effective care. Our focus is not only on functional recovery but also on empowering patients to achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
  • BLS certification and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with experience in rehabilitation facilities or those skilled in managing diverse patient populations will be highly favored. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
