Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Front Office Manager. This leadership position involves overseeing front desk operations, ensuring Forbes-level service, and stepping in as Manager on Duty when the General Manager is absent. Responsibilities include acting as Manager on Duty in the GM's absence, leading, mentoring, and managing a diverse front office team, delivering an exceptional guest experience, aligned with Forbes Five-Star standards, handling scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews for front office staff, collaborating daily with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless operations, conducting regular property walkthroughs to uphold safety, cleanliness, and guest preparedness, addressing guest concerns promptly to guarantee satisfaction and retention, maintaining accurate guest and billing records via the PMS, and assisting the GM in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L reviews.
Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of front office or hotel leadership experience, ideally in luxury or boutique settings, a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field, strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, proficiency in PMS systems, Microsoft Office; familiarity with guest satisfaction tools a plus, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and comfort working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Due to visa restrictions, at the moment we are only accepting candidates from Mexico and Canada. The limitation to Mexican and Canadian nationals is a legal requirement tied to the specifics of the TN visa, not a preference of the employer.
