Maintenance Technician - Homewood Suites Ridgeland, MS
Homewood Suites by Hilton Jackson/Ridgeland is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As part of the MMI Hotel Group a leader with over 70 years of hospitality excellence we are committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the hotel. Your efforts will ensure our guests enjoy a seamless and memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property
  • Complete preventative maintenance to support facility upkeep and equipment performance
  • Safely operate hand tools and power tools
  • Read and interpret work orders and specifications accurately
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and guest safety
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize and respond to maintenance needs
  • Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Dedication to providing excellent guest service

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb for extended periods
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Capable of lifting and transporting tools and maintenance materials
