ABOUT HOMA
Homa is a Florida-licensed real estate brokerage that rebates 2% of every closing back to the buyer. On a $500K home that's $10,000 back in the buyer's pocket. The 2024 NAR settlement made this possible. Most Florida buyers don't know this option exists. Your job is to put it in their hand at the moment they're shopping.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Stand on public sidewalks outside open houses across Tampa metro (Hillsborough + Pinellas) every Saturday and Sunday
- Approach homebuyers leaving the showing with a confident, warm 20-second pitch
- Hand out 4x6 cards with a QR code that gives them 2% back on their next home purchase
- Log scans, conversations, and photos at end of day to a shared sheet
- Wear a branded Homa shirt and lanyard (we provide)
PAY
- Base: $25/hr
- Bonus: $25 per qualified signup (signup + phone verified + at least 1 saved home) - no cap
- 1099 contractor, paid weekly
PILOT DATES
- Primary: Sat 6/27 + Sun 6/28
- Backup weekend: Sat 7/11 + Sun 7/12
- 5-6 hours each day, across 4-5 open house locations per day
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- 2+ years of brand ambassador, promo, trade show, hospitality, or retail commission-floor experience
- Confidence approaching strangers in public
- Native or near-native English, articulate, can adapt a scripted pitch on the fly
- Professional appearance
- Reliable transportation (you'll drive between 4-5 open houses per day)
- Smartphone with data
- Available BOTH Saturday and Sunday, 5-6 hours each day
WHAT THIS IS NOT
- Not a licensed real estate agent role. You do not need a license. If you ARE a licensed agent, this is not the right gig (compliance reasons; we have a separate $25/signup referral program for you).
- Not full-time. Weekend pilot, scaling to ongoing weekends if it works.
- Not cold-calling or door-knocking. You stand on public sidewalks outside open houses only - never on private property.
