We are helping our client, an award-winning design studio, focused on working with product teams that drive positive change. They design products (digital and physical), brands, marketing campaigns, and produce live-action and animated videos.
The recent and past clients include Microsoft, Google, Crusoe, Toyota, X-box, Y-combinator, and Petcube.
About the role:
This is not a traditional account management role. We are looking for someone who is equally strong at relationship-building, partner service and growth.
You should know how to build trust, spot opportunities, and turn them into long-term partnerships. You will work closely with their sales lead, founders, design directors, and project managers.
In this role you will:
- Build and grow their network in San Francisco through events, meetups, introductions, and ongoing relationships
- Become a trusted face of the studio in the Bay Area and help create a strong local presence
- Support their sales lead during project kickoffs, important meetings, and larger partner conversations
- Help maintain and grow relationships with existing partners, especially on larger retainer accounts
- Make sure great projects stay with them and continue to grow over time
- Act as a bridge between partners and the internal team across strategy, design, production, and delivery
- Help partners feel supported, understood, and excited to work with them - both online and in person
About you:
- 2-3+ years of experience in account management, client services, partnerships, or a similar role.
- Experience working in an agency, creative studio, branding, advertising, design, or digital environment
- Strong relationship-building skills - you genuinely enjoy meeting people, building trust, and maintaining connections
- Highly charismatic, proactive, and entrepreneurial
- A "hustler" mentality - someone who takes ownership and makes things happen without waiting to be asked
- An existing network in San Francisco or the Bay Area is a big plus
- Experience with corporate, enterprise, or larger retained accounts is a plus
