Job Title: Facility Manager (Large scale meal delivery)

Pay- Competitive $80K/year to $120K/year salary (negotiable based on experience)

Hire Curated is assisting Locale in hiring a Facility Manager.

About Locale Locale offers high-protein prepared meals built on the highest health and ingredient standards in the industry. Every meal is designed to help customers maximize energy and longevity. We don't use processed ingredients, refined sugars, emulsifiers, or seed oils. Only organic, nutrient dense ingredients. All meals are packed in microplastic free glass jars. We're reinventing how prepared meals are made at scale.

About the Role As Facility Manager, you will own the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of our production facility and equipment, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that sets the highest standards for health and quality in the prepared meals space.

What You'll Own

  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and servicing of all facility equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facility infrastructure
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs and facility improvements
  • Ensure the facility meets all regulatory and safety requirements including health, fire, and building codes
  • Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency, reduce costs, and extend equipment lifespan
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment service history, and facility inspections

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in facility management or maintenance in a food production or food manufacturing environment is required
  • General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems commonly found in food facilities
  • Familiarity with food facility sanitation standards and regulatory compliance
  • HACCP and/or quality assurance experience is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with a small, collaborative team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Moderate computer literacy

Availability

  • Monday through Friday, with willingness to assist outside normal hours in the event of emergencies
  • Based in Hayward, CA

Compensation and Benefits
