Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and treatment needs, ensuring that individualized care plans are effectively developed.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Deliver therapy sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, creating a safe and open environment for healing and growth.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing EMR software to streamline processes.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress, ensuring the most effective therapeutic interventions are utilized.
• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training to stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Hillside Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals from various backgrounds facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Colorado is mandatory.
• Minimum of three years of relevant counseling experience, particularly within a clinical context.
• Strong understanding of the legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
