Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Wealth Advisor who is a relationship builder at heart, with strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset that excels in a fast-paced and evolving organization. You are self-motivated, adept at managing client relationships, perform at a high level under variable workloads, and have a passion for making a positive impact on client's lives. You will report to the Managing Director. #LI-Onsite
What You'll Do
  • Maintain and expand existing client relationships, leading a first-class onboarding experience for new client relationships
  • Develop and implement customized financial plans
  • Conduct in-person portfolio and planning reviews
  • Prepare investment proposals
  • Collaborate with our referral partners
  • Support our business development efforts
  • Follow and have knowledge of regulatory requirements
What You'll Bring
You have strong professional communication and interpersonal skills. You can motivate yourself to manage a book of clients and provide an impeccable experience.
You will have experience and attributes in the following areas:
  • Building immediate relationships with personnel and clients
  • Strong EQ and ability to connect with clients on a deeper level to discover their true motivations and priorities
  • Experience with financial planning concepts; experience delivering applicable advice and partnering with clients in implementing a financial plan
  • Experience creating client relationships - through high retention rate, increased wallet share capture, and receiving referrals
Required Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a licensed financial services professional
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Clean U4 Compliance Record
  • CFP certification or the ability to attain certification within 12 months
  • Excellent quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills-can provide a concise investment thesis for a range of audiences (from portfolio manager to unsophisticated client)
  • Knowledgeable in personal tax, asset management, financial planning, insurance, estate, and retirement planning
  • Demonstrate analytical skills
  • Team-oriented individual to support a growing advisory practice
  • Experience with eMoney, Salesforce, and Tamarac
  • Securities representative licenses (Series 65 or 66) - FINRA
  • You will be required to be accepted into the SAN (Schwab Advisor Network) through successful background check
