Master Technician Job Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on complex vehicle systems
  • Diagnose drivability, electrical, mechanical, and performance concerns
  • Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and service information
  • Accurately document diagnostic steps and repair work performed
  • Collaborate with service advisors to ensure clear repair explanations
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Participate in ongoing Mazda technical training as assigned

Master Technician Compensation and Benefits

The HighLevel Technician position is paid on a pay scale that may include one or more of the following compensation elements:

  • Hourly compensation, which varies based on experience, certifications, skill level, and performance, range from $33.80- $90.00
  • Productionbased incentive compensation, which may be earned based on individual and/or team productivity
  • Retentionbased incentive compensation, which may be earned based on hours produced

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as hours worked, production, performance metrics, and business needs. Incentive and bonus compensation are not guaranteed.

Master Technician Qualifications

  • Highlevel automotive technician experience required
  • Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills
  • Experience with Mazda vehicles preferred but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a productionoriented environment
  • ASE certifications are preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
