Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client needs and formulate clinical diagnoses, tailoring treatment plans to the unique challenges of each individual.
  • Deliver high-quality individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to address diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health crises, ensuring timely and effective responses to emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including detailed progress notes and treatment evaluations, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations with medical professionals, social workers, and support staff to deliver holistic, client-centered care that meets the complex needs of our clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and promote awareness of available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.
  • Commit to life-long learning by attending workshops, training sessions, and professional conferences to stay updated on the latest therapeutic modalities and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families of varying cultural backgrounds. Focusing on inclusive care, you will address a variety of mental health issues, particularly those prevalent in urban settings. Your work will help support marginalized communities by providing accessible therapy that acknowledges and respects their unique experiences.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctorate level education is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a counseling or therapy role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building therapeutic alliances with clients.
  • The ability to function independently while also collaborating effectively with a team of mental health professionals.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards in clinical practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in community health settings is preferred, though not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital consultation tools is an asset.
  • Experience in crisis intervention or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
