Certified Medication Aide - Flagstaff, Arizona

At Highgate at Flagstaff, our mission is to help every resident live each day to the fullest, regardless of age or ailments. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in empowering our residents to live their best lives. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration of medications to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse

  • Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing staff

  • Provide direct care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Document medication administration and resident care accurately and timely

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for our residents

  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Medication Aide in the state of Arizona

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in a long-term care or senior living setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Compliant with all infection control and OSHA regulations
