Job Summary

High Side Technology is looking to hire a Systems Engineering Lead. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful development and delivery of complex systems, requiring a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage the technical aspects of the program. The role involves both technical and managerial duties, ensuring successful execution of program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a medium to large team of Systems Engineers on programs related to threat warning systems.
• Oversee all systems engineering content, ensuring the quality and completeness of work products.
• Understand and implement the product development process, ensuring alignment with program goals.
• Handle schedule and cost account responsibilities for the systems team.
• Execute systems planning and requirements development, including creation and review of system requirements.
• Allocate requirements to relevant engineering disciplines and oversee integration and verification of system designs.
• Create system test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Lead product design, development, integration, and verification efforts.
• Engage in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings.
• Maintain contact with customers, other contractors, and government officials.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations internally and to customers.
• Monitor and report on metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
• Participate in proposal development activities.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience.
