Job SummaryWe seek a dedicated Medical-Surgical Nurse to join, providing exceptional patient care before and after surgical procedures. The role involves monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and maintaining patient records to ensure high-quality patient care.
Job ObjectiveChange dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
Educate patients and families on surgical and post-surgery care.
Adjust and monitor specialized medical equipment.
Record measurements and report adverse reactions.
Monitor vitals and collaborate on discharge planning.
Maintain and update medical records.
Follow best nursing practices and protocols.
RequirementsProven experience as a Medical-Surgical Nurse
NCLEX-RN certification
BSN or ADN from an accredited university and current state licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience
In-depth knowledge of best practices in medical-surgical nursing.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Relevant training and certifications in medical-surgical nursing.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Commitment to continued professional development and staying updated with the latest medical-surgical nursing practices
