About the Organization

At Henry Medical Services, we prioritize the mental health needs of individuals and families who often face barriers to accessing quality care. Our organization is committed to creating a supportive atmosphere where patients feel safe, understood, and empowered to take charge of their mental health journey. Through compassionate and innovative approaches, we aim to nurture personal growth and emotional resilience in those we serve.

This role enables you to work remotely while being part of a dynamic outpatient office setting. Our remote structure allows counselors the flexibility to engage with clients effectively while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Communication tools and client management systems are in place to ensure seamless interaction with colleagues and access to real-time client information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s specific needs, conducting in-depth assessments to guide treatment plans.
  • Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, couples, and families, fostering a safe and open environment for dialogue.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to address diverse mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights and recommendations for holistic treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure accountability and support superior patient care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with the latest mental health research and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC, you will work with a variety of clients, including individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. We prioritize serving those with limited access to mental health resources, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will significantly contribute to improving patient outcomes by providing tailored care that acknowledges and respects each client’s unique experience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, demonstrating competency in clinical settings.
  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in counseling practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and inspire trust with a diverse client base.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in managing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other related technologies that support client documentation and billing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, contributing positively to team dynamics.
