Hennessay Medical is a small, independent primary care practice in Torrance looking for a reliable, personable part-time Medical Office Assistant to join our team approximately one day per week, with the potential for additional hours as the role develops.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in healthcare who is organized, comfortable with technology, and eager to learn. Prior medical office experience is helpful but not required — we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling
• Patient check-in/check-out
• Take vitals
• Collect copays and patient balances
• Assist with basic medical office and administrative tasks
• Update patient information and records
• Help prepare the office and schedule for patient visits
• Assist with other front-office and back-office duties as needed
