PRICING ANALYST - RETAIL ENERGY | Houston, TX | $80 - 100,000 + Bonus

The Role:

An IPP with retail operations spanning PJM, ISONE, NYISO, and ERCOT is hiring a Pricing Analyst to sit inside its Retail Pricing and Supply function. This isn't a back-office modeling seat - you're structuring live deals, owning risk views, and feeding pricing straight to Sales.

What you'll own:

• Cost and price retail electricity deals for commercial and industrial clients across four ISOs
• Build usage forecasts from historical load data that directly drive Sales pricing decisions
• Maintain and validate forward price curves for power
• Own price and volumetric risk analysis on every deal you touch
• Validate deal booking and keep costing model assumptions current

What you bring:

✅ Bachelor's in Finance, Math, or Economics

✅ 2+ years in the energy industry

✅ SQL, R, or Python - a real plus, not a nice-to-have

✅ Sharp Excel skills and the judgment to know when a number looks wrong

✅ Comfort working fast, under deadline pressure, without sacrificing accuracy
