Established machine shop is seeking mechanically minded and energetic individuals to assist with CNC work and learn the trade. This helper role involves supporting a small team in producing high-quality parts for companies worldwide, with exposure to diverse machining processes and opportunities to develop mechanical skills in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist CNC operators with daily tasks and machine setup
• Prepare and organize tools and materials for machining processes
• Perform routine machinery maintenance and cleaning
• Handle materials and parts safely throughout production
• Support quality inspection to ensure parts meet specifications
• Set up equipment under supervision to facilitate efficient workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience or exposure to machining support roles
• Basic understanding of CNC operations and terminology
• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work well within a small team environment
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members
