Helpmates is hiring a Sit Down Forklift Operator in Cypress! Candidates must have experience operating a sit-down forklift and an electric pallet jack. An updated resume and an in-person interview are required.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with Saturdays as needed. Pay Rate: $20/hr
Job Duties:
• Set up the area for the line and manual orders, including bringing pallets, packaging, and raw materials to ensure the production line is well-stocked
• Wrap finished good pallets from the line and manual orders to prepare for transport
• Transport finished goods using forklift equipment safely and efficiently
• Record start and end times of each pallet in the production log to ensure accurate documentation
• Locate and file all empty bags from production for recycling or disposal
• Support the production team whenever needed to maintain smooth operations
• Perform cleaning tasks with the rest of the team to keep the workspace tidy and safe
What You'll Bring:
• Valid forklift certification
• At least 3 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to safety policies and procedures
