Position Summary:
The Senior Project IT Engineer is responsible for assisting with client projects, new client onboarding, and providing escalated support for IT-related requests. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively respond to a variety of client needs, including urgent situations. All client interactions are expected to reflect a “white glove” level of customer service.
Position Duties:
- Handle escalations from the helpdesk team, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution.
- Work with end-users to resolve and troubleshoot desktop hardware, desktop applications, server hardware, server applications, routing, and connectivity issues.
- Work to resolve proactive alerts.
- Manage daily ticket queues and schedules to ensure all assigned tickets are resolved and responded to within approved SLA targets.
- Assist with the onboarding of new clients, including reviewing onboarding forms, installing tools, and documenting processes.
- Assist with client projects(O365 Email Migrations, Azure Migrations, Network upgrades, office expansions)
- Provide extraordinary customer service.
Required Technical Proficiencies:
- Expert proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting Windows 11.
- Expert understanding of Windows Server maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.
- Expert proficiency in Azure environments and management
- Expert proficiency in Intune environments and management
- Expert proficiency in Office365 and/or GSuite.
- Proficiency in common business SaaS applications.
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory and its use in complex environments.
- Expert understanding of advanced network troubleshooting.
- Advance security software knowledge, such as Huntress and SentinelOne (S1).
Base Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role or 3 years of experience working in Managed Services (MSP).
- Willingness to learn and grow.
