Job description

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
  • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
  • Restock displays of all products, dry goods, liquids, and paper goods.
  • Restock, rotation and organization of all products throughout the shift.
  • Maintain high level of standards in cleanliness of counter area, displays, lobby area, exterior, and parking lot throughout shift to include all surfaces, floors, windows, doors, and equipment.
  • Accurate completion of all customer orders and packaging of products focusing on detail to ensure customer satisfaction and proper product presentation.
  • Responsible for accurately ringing in all sales transaction in POS system, practicing proper cash handling techniques and assisting manager in closing daily sales.
  • Maintain friendly, energetic, and accommodating personality to promote high levels of customer satisfaction throughout shift.
  • Answer phones and follow policy in regards to large orders.
  • Promotes teamwork among the staff.
  • Respond to guest complaints by bringing them to the attention of the General Manager to ensure a positive experience.
  • Supports company vision and mission.
  • Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
  • Ensure timely service to the guest.
  • Greets guest entering establishment with friendly attitude.

Safety and Sanitation:

  • Exceed industry standards in food handling, food safety, staff safety, and ensure compliance with all health department regulations
  • Practices food handling and general cleaning as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing.
